Included are rarely seen images of Poe's boyhood homes, the tavern where he stayed on his last visit to Richmond, and the parlor in which he gave his last reading of "The Raven." Of course, there is also an 1849 images of Poe taken in Richmond a few weeks before his death. Captions on the back of each postcard explain the significance of the photograph on the front.
