This beautiful magnet set produced by The Metropolitan Museum Of Art comes boxed and includes six black cat magnets depicting the work of artist Théophile Alexandre Steinlen (French, 1859 - 1923). Much of Steinlen's work featured black cats, a fascination shared by Poe.
Poe himself owned a black cat and published the tale The Black Cat in 1843.
